While studying at Concordia University, we met in a psychology class. We were faced with a daunting group project; writing an entire textbook by the end of the semester. It turned out to be the best thing to happen to us. We spent all our time together, laughing and stressing through the work and somehow making it possible.
When the pandemic started, we made the best of things by enjoying walks and getting ice cream throughout Montreal.
By June 2021, we went on our first real date at a pizza restaurant in Sainte-Anne-de Bellevue. We walked around the beautiful tip of the island, enjoying the fresh air and each other's company.
We began to build a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Every day has been an adventure, and we cherished every moment together.
In May 2024, we went back to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, where we went on the same walk as before along the canal, and Zaki got down on one knee to propose.
Now, we are planning our elegant and intimate wedding where we can share our special day with the people we love most. Our celebration will be a beautiful blend of Syrian and Canadian cultures, filled with meaningful traditions and delicious food. We can't wait to create unforgettable memories together with you all!
